RCMP release photos of McCann motor home

Edmonton – While the search for missing St. Albert residents Marie Ann and Thomas McCann continues; RCMP report they have now concluded the ground search of the area surrounding the burned out motor home, found abandoned and ablaze in a cutline outside Edson July 5.

The RCMP Forensic Identification unit collected material from the burned vehicle and surrounding area that is now being analyzed to determine if it is of use in the ongoing investigation.

Thus far RCMP have received more than 80 tips from the public and are in the process of evaluating and following up on information received.

The public is asked to contact the RCMP if they have information on the whereabouts of 77-year-old Marie Ann McCann and her husband Lyle Thomas McCann, aged 78. The couple was last seen in St. Albert July 3.

RCMP are also seeking information from those who may have seen a 1999 green and white Gulfstream motor home prior to July 5 and a Hyundai Tucson, light green, license number ZPK 289.
