Bon Accord – Morinville RCMP are looking for whoever was responsible for visiting Lilian Schick School over the long weekend for less than scholarly purposes.

Morinville RCMP report that sometime between Aug. 1 and 2, the school, located off Lily Lake Road, was the target of vandals.

A number of the schools outside lights were damaged, torn down and ripped apart.

As the school is off the main highway, there were no known witnesses to the acts of vandalism.

Morinville RCMP are asking for the public’s help in providing information and ask anyone with info on the occurrence to contact the Morinville Detachment at 780-939-4550 or Crime Stoppers at 1-800-222-8477. Crime Stoppers pays cash rewards of up to $2,000 for information that leads to an arrest, the recovery of stolen property, or the seizure of illegal drugs.
