Sunday morning of December 5th saw a festive and well attended Christmas celebration at the Centralta Community Centre in Legal. The morning was packed full of events and activities! The grade nine class of Legal School put on a delicious pancake breakfast and raised over six hundred dollars towards their upcoming class trip. The Legal School of Scottish Highland Dance performed during breakfast and put on al lovely show with dancers as young as three.

The kiddies were kept busy with crafts and a Mom & Pop Shop “kid only zone” where they could purchase up to four gifts for their loved ones for one dollar each. They were pumped up for Santa’s visit by renowned entertainers Lee and Sandy Paley who put on a delightful interactive show that gets the crowd moving! Santa came on scene as a finale to the morning and each child was given an opportunity to visit with Santa, have their picture taken and take home a treat bag of Christmas goodies.

Feedback on the event was very positive and huge kudos is due to Legal’s wonderful Community Services Board and other community volunteers for another successful endeavour!
