Morinville – The Morinville Plaza will be mixing good food and laughter in aide of the Morinville Food Bank Society this weekend as they bring New York standup comedian Mike Dambra to Morinville for a dinner theatre show.

Dambra, twice voted the Funniest Person in Rochester, has been involved in the comedy scene since 1986 and has toured with Howie Mandel, Rosie O’Donnell, Adam Sandler, Michael Bolton and Joan Jett and the Blackhearts over his nearly quarter century-long career.

Organizers are hoping Morinville residents will come out to enjoy a meal, hear some comedy and help those in need this Christmas. Tickets for the dinner and comedy show are $30 and part of the proceeds from the evening will be donated to the food bank.

Dinner begins at 6:30 p.m. with Dambra’s show set to begin at 8:30 p.m. for ticket information call 780-939-3111. The Morinville Plaza is located on 100 Avenue across from Canada Post.
