Gibbons – Morinville and Edmonton RCMP are currently investigating an armed robbery that occurred at The Alberta Treasuries Branch (ATB) on 50 Avenue in Gibbons yesterday afternoon.
At approximately 2 p.m. Tuesday afternoon masked individuals entered the branch with a firearm. An undisclosed amount of money was taken during the robbery. A teller received minor injuries during the incident but did not require medical treatment.
RCMP are asking anyone with information related to the robbery to contact the Morinville RCMP at 780-939-4520 or Crime Stoppers at 1-800-222-8477.
