Jets begin quarter finals this weekend

Morinville – After taking their qualifying round of CJHL playoffs in two straight games, the Morinville Jets enter the league playoff quarter finals against the North Edmonton Red Wings this weekend.

The Red Wings, who finished in second spot in the CJHL’s West Division have the home ice advantage in the best-of-five series against the Jets.

The first game of the series is scheduled for Friday night at 8 p.m. at Edmonton’s Bill Hunt arena. Game two will take place Sunday at 2 p.m. at the Ray McDonald Sports Centre in Morinville. Game three will see the series travel to the Red Wings home rink, the Clareview Arena, Feb. 23 at 8 p.m.

Should the series continue to four games, that contest will take place in Morinville Feb. 25 at 8:30 p.m. A fifth and final game is scheduled for Feb. 27, location to be determined.
