Morinville – RCMP are currently investigating a suspicious death that occurred in Gibbons Wednesday afternoon. Police responded to a 911 call from Gibbons Mar. 2. The call was related to a disturbance in a residence in the town. On arrival at the scene, RCMP discovered a deceased male in his 20s.
The incident is being treated by police as a suspicious death and an autopsy on the deceased is scheduled to take place in Edmonton Thursday morning.
The name of the deceased and details on the incident arte not being released at this time, although RCMP say further details may be made available Thursday afternoon.
Edmonton Major Crime Unit with the assistance of the Morinville Detachment and General Investigation Section are conducting the investigation.
