Dear Editor:
As you may or may not know Char Parrent of the Flower Stop was a Finalist for the 2010 Alberta Business Awards of Distinction. This is an amazing honour for one of our local businesses to be nominated and make it as one of the four finalists in the Small Business category. Although the Flower Stop may not have won an award, we are extremely proud of Char and the Flower Stop as she has represented the Morinville business community and the Morinville and District Chamber of Commerce very well!
Also, over the weekend I had the opportunity to provide sound for the Co-operators Agency Awards, and was pleased to see that Michael Gaudry of Gaudry Financial Services Ltd. / Co-operators Agency received many accolades for his achievements. Gaudry Financial Services Ltd. received numerous awards, including the Level 1 Status for both Automotive ( for the 4th consecutive year) and Habitational portfolios (for the 2nd year in a row), among other achievements.
Congratulations to Michael and all of the Staff at Gaudry Financial Services Ltd. for a job well done!
