Morinville – STARS air ambulance arrived in Morinville Saturday morning, but their flight into town was not to participate in the EMS Week event held that morning at Morinville Community High School.
The air ambulance was responding to an actual medical emergency in Notre Dame Estates. The red chopper landed at 99 Avenue and 87 Street to meet an ambulance crew who had delivered a patient to the awaiting chopper from the subdivision.
The nature of the man’s illness or injury was not available from those on scene. The incident took place around 10:30 a.m.
STARS air ambulance was called to Notre Dame Estates Saturday morning for a medical emergency.
