Morinville – It was an active weekend in Morinville with plenty to see and do. The town was abuzz with sights and sounds with the annual Town Wide Yard Sale, Centennial Community Gardens work bee and Show and Shine in the Tim Hortons parking lot.

The boulevard outside Sobeys' parking lot was full of garage and yard sale signs Saturday, alerting Morinvillians and visitors to the community to where the hot bargains were.

Jared Loseth helps build a raised garden bed at the Morinville United Church Saturday morning. Loseth, 13, was the youngest of three generations of Loseths working on the Centennial Community Gardens project along with many other local gardening volunteers. Two-thirds fo the project was completed during Saturday's work bee.
Gib Boddez talks about his 1967 Ford Meteor, a classic he bought brand new out of the showroom 44 years ago. Boddez was joined by many other classic car owners and enthusiasts in the Tim Hortons parking lot.
Some plastic fast food rests on the open window of a classic automobile, completing the mood of a fondly remembered era.
Some vehicles just call out to have a look under the hood.
