Morinville – Despite the mostly overcast weather, the weekend was full of activity in Morinville. From music to baseball, there was plenty going on.

Local Elvis Tribute Artist Rick Johnsen performs at the Morinville Event Centre Saturday night. The event was a fundraiser for juvenile diabetes. The hotel donated $1 from each drink sold to the cause. Johnsen will be performing in Morinville during the St. Jean Baptiste Festival.
Annette Kelsch and Kelly Miller dance to one of Elvis’ tunes during their stag and stagette Saturday night. The couple is set to tie the not in July.

Troy Kluss of Vintage gets set to crack one out of the park Sunday afternoon. Vintage was one of a number of teams playing in the Albert Dutka Memorial Softball Tournament, an annual ball event that raises money for cancer research.
