Legal – What are you doing on Saturday, July 23, at 8 a.m.? Not sure yet? How about taking a moment to breathe in the country air, enjoy the sights of picturesque Legal, and then sit down to a pancake breakfast served with genuine small town hospitality?
Join us for the 2nd annual Legal Fun Run, Walk or Ride, sponsored by ExamBank and the Running Room. The course starts and ends at the Fête au Village fair grounds at Citadelle Park, and participants may walk, ride, or run their way to the finish line on either a 3- or 5 kilometer loop. This event is organized with everyone in mind! The well groomed pathways are just as amenable to bicycles, strollers, and wheelchairs as they are to seasoned runners striving for a personal best. Legal’s great trail system winds through parks, across bridges, along a creek and around a naturalized pond.
Registration only costs $15 and includes a T-shirt (if you register before July 15), breakfast, a chance to win some draw prizes, and entrance to the Fête au Village for a jam-packed schedule of family-friendly events. Why not make a full day of it?
