Comment: Potatoes and performers

For the past eight months it has been our pleasure to deliver Morinville and area a new style of presenting the news.
Understanding our client’s and reader’s needs has been the key to our success and allowed us to provide community news that takes the word community seriously.

Community participation is essential to community news and we have tried to be at as many events as possible.
Keeping up with what’s going on in a vibrant community is a challenge we have enjoyed.

Helping to make this community vibrant is what Art of Conversation Morinville is all about.

Up until now, we have had the opportunity to support a number of community initiatives: an all-candidates forum, supporting a school play, supporting the library’s summer reading program, and providing a venue for local non-profits to hold 50/50 draws during the recent St. Jean Baptiste concert series.

Now comes the time to do something else.

The Art of Conversation will be sponsoring live entertainment at the Morinville Farmer’s Market during the lunch hour.
Every Friday we will be hiring some local talent to give market shoppers a little something extra to thank them for their visit and to thank the Friends of the Morinville Public Library for making the Farmer’s Market possible.

Remember, starting next week, the Farmer’s Market will take place at the Morinville Parish Hall Parking lot.

Stop by for some great products, produce and performers.
