Sturgeon County – Morinville RCMP responded to a two-vehicle collision on Highway 28A approximately .5 miles south of Gibbons late Monday afternoon.
Initial investigation has revealed a car and a dump truck collided on the Highway. The driver of the car, an adult male, was pronounced deceased on scene. The driver of the dump truck has been transported to Hospital with undisclosed injuries.
The collision is currently under investigation. Traffic analysts are on scene and Highway 28A and the collision site will be closed until further notice.
