Halloween comes to town – photos

Children and adults got in the Halloween mood Monday, donning costumes or colours to celebrate or at least acknowledge the day. Below are some photos from around Morinville that capture the day’s trend.

Magician Henry Parker brought his Miles of Magic to Notre Dame Elementary School in Morinville, entertaining a class of kindergarten students with cards, handkerchiefs and magical rings. Other activities at the school included black and orange clothing and pumpkin carving.
Town of Morinville staff gathered together with Morinville Public Library staff outside the Parish Hall Monday morning for a group photo.
Morinville Public Elementary School student London Woods leads a parade of her classmates through Morinville Town Offices Monday afternoon. Students made two trips to the offices to have their bags filled with goodies and to show off their costumes to town staff.
Morinville Public Elementary School head start students Allissa Foster and Jaden Young do the prep work on a pumpkin so it can be turned into its Halloween form.
