Sturgeon County – Highway 37 continues to be closed Tuesday morning as Morinville RCMP continue to investigate an early morning collision that took the life of one man.
Morinville RCMP responded to a two-vehicle collision on Highway 37 near Starkey Road at approximately 6:05 a.m.
Upon arrival it was determined an eastbound car and a westbound gravel truck had collided on Highway 37. The male driver of the car succumbed to his injuries.
The name of the deceased is not being released at this time. Road and weather conditions are not considered to be a factor in the collision.
