September vandalism in Morinville
RCMP are looking for the individuals who spray painted the words KILLERS and AK47 on several Morinville Community High School windows.

RCMP said Wednesday graffiti demeans a community and creates a general sense of insecurity. They are asking residents to help combat vandals by reporting suspicious activities and removing all traces of graffiti in conjunction with the police investigation.

Animal cruelty in Legal
RCMP are investigating a complaint of animal cruelty in the town of Legal after being contacted by a resident who reported her cat had suffered severe head injuries.

The injured cat was examined by a veterinarian after the Oct. 6 incident. RCMP say the veterinarian indicated it was a case of animal cruelty.

In her report to police, the complainant said she observed a young Caucasian male trying to catch her cat. He is described as approximately 16 years old with dark hair.

Morinville RCMP are asking for the help of the public in solving these crimes. Anyone with information is asked to call the Morinville RCMP at 780-939-4520 or Crime Stoppers at 1-800-222-8477.
