Rendez-Vous Centre hosts Applefest

Morinville – A wide range of unique handmade items and a taste of baked goods were up for sale at the Rendez-Vous Centre Nov. 5. Local crafters and vendors were selling miscellaneous crafts and Christmas gift ideas as well as jewelry, Tupperware, spices, floral arrangements, crochet and knitted items.

Some of the volunteers from the Rendez-Vous Center were busy with the sale of desserts and tea or coffee. The selection included apple pizza, apple pie with cheese or ice cream, apple crisp apple dumpling, apple pudding or applesauce pudding with cream or sausage roll with apple sauce. The one-day event was a fundraiser for the Rendez-Vous Center.
