RCMP looking for big screen boosting bandit

Morinville – Police are turning to the public for assistance in finding out stole a 64-inch plasma television from the back of a truck in broad daylight.

Morinville RCMP report the television, which was brand new in its packaging, was taken from the back of a pick-up truck parked in front of Carrie’s Hair Salon on 100 Avenue in downtown Morinville.

The incident is believed to have occurred sometime between 3 p.m. and 5 p.m. Feb. 27.

Police remind residents of the importance of not leaving valuable in their vehicles unattended.

Morinville RCMP are asking the public for help in solving this crime.
