Morinville Teen Centre broken into

Morinville – Police are reporting the Morinville Teen Centre, located at 10320 99 Avenue, across from the Ray McDonald Sports Centre, was broken into sometime between Mar. 23 and Mar. 26.

Police attending the scene Monday morning say access to the facility was gained by prying open the back door. Once inside the suspect or suspects stole a Wii video game console and a number of video games.

Morinville RCMP are asking the public for assistance in solving this crime. Anyone with information is asked to call the Morinville RCMP at 780-939-4520 or Crime Stoppers at 1-800-222-8477.

  1. This is sad !!! This center is trying to make a go of it and provide somewhere in our community that our young people can go and hang out have some fun meet new friends. I hope that the person, people involved are caught. We need centers like this, its a great progam and should be helped when crap like this happens our family supports this program and we will do what we can helping to replace the stolen items. I’m sure not just me would be interested in donating to a great program for our youth, I hope there’s others out there that are willing to help too.
