St. Albert – Music students from Primeau and MCHS took to the stage of the Arden Theatre on Wednesday in the St. Albert Rotary Music Festival.
Primeau Band was awarded a Gold Certificate in Class No.11000 Concert Band Grade I Junior High School category for their performance of Mystic Runes of Ra’ak. Students from MCHS, who performed Wednesday afternoon, also received Gold.
This is the 35th anniversary of the Music Festival and the 18th year that the Rotary Club of St. Albert has hosted the event. 25 band classes from Edmonton, Stony Plain, Morinville, Gibbons and Namao were set to performing.
