Museum display
Donna Garrett, Museum Operations Attendant at the Musée Morinville Museum puts the last minute touches to the physician desk and cupboard just in time for International Museum Day on Friday. The bottle she was placing in the cupboard was a prescription made out from the Morinville Drug Store in 1950 from Dr. Fergusson. The next museum project will be a camera display. – Lucie Roy Photo


Tree day
More than 30 Vanier staff members gathered during their annual retreat Friday to plant a tree to celebrate student success and commemorate their commitment to excellence in education. A plaque will be made for the site. G.P. Vanier Principal Susan Coates said G.P. Vanier was awarded a Certificate of Recognition for very high achievement in the areas of Education Quality, School Improvement and the Program of Studies. These awards are given to schools as part of a division recognition program (BELRA Awards) to congratulate students and teachers on their accomplishments. The success of all schools in the division has led to GSACRD being recognized as the top performing school division in the province.
