Police looking for help in apprehending vandals

By Morinville News Staff

Morinville – Some early morning vandals have police reminding residents to report suspicious activities to authorities. Sometime between 1 a.m. and 5 a.m. Sunday morning an unknown individual or individuals littered the pathway between Grandin Drive and 98th Avenue in Morinville (ravine crossing) with broken glass and solar lights. The individual(s) left a swath of broken glass for about 60 metres. Morinville RCMP were informed that a resident of the area had been out sweeping the pathway for about three hours, filling a 5-gallon pail with the glass and debris.

Police are asking residents to help combat these vandals by reporting suspicious activities. It is their belief by working together, we can stop vandalism and mischief.

Morinville RCMP are asking the public for help in solving this crime. Anyone with information about the crime is asked to call the Morinville RCMP at 780-939-4520 or Crime Stoppers at 1-800-222-8477.
