Morinville – Students from two schools and two communities gathered at the Morinville Fish and Game Association pond Wednesday afternoon.

More than 75 students from Morinville Public Elementary School were on a fieldtrip and scavenger hunt at the pond as part of their Nature Day activities. At the same time students from Sister Annata Brockman School in Edmonton visited the local pond for their own look at nature. Approximately 30 Grade 7 students and staff took part in the trip. The students were taught how to fish, took part in a scavenger hunt, read the educational display boards and used the trail fitness equipment.
