Christian school honours its students

The Principal’s Award and Pastor’s Award are the two top two awards presented in the Senior Learning Centre.

Morinville – While midway rides rose and fell across the road at St. Jean Baptiste Festival 2012,proud parents and solid students gathers at the Morinville Christian Fellowship School’s annual awards night, held at the Rendez-Vous Center.

There were 27 students presented with 45 awards: 30 were academic and 15 were character trait awards. Awards included Great Distinction, Distinction, Honour Roll and Bible Club. Guests making the presentations included Dr. Dwayne Harapnuik of Concordia University, Dr. Alyce Oosterhuisa former professor at King’s University College in Edmonton and Maureen Kubinec MLA for Barrhead-Morinville-Westlock.

The Pastor’s Award is presented to the student that continuously demonstrates solid character, has a cheerful and positive attitude about school and life. Sarah Arlene Cluett was the recipient of the award this year.

The Supervisor's Award is the top award for the Junior Learning Centre and the recipient was Rachel Fraser.
The Principal’s Award recipient was Luke Tait. The award is presented to a strong leader of good character, who steps to the plate, willingly pitches in, sets a good example and is strong in school spirit and diligent in all facets of school life.
