Edmonton – Indy weekend will see drivers from around the globe taking to the track July 20-22, but the weekend will also put a number of local drivers behind the wheel in the NASCC Eurasia Cup GT Invitational.
Morinville driver Mark Schwabenbauer will once again be racing his Volkswagen Scirocco in the GTP4 class. He is one of about 50 drivers from across Western Canada who will compete in five classes during the sseries.
Schwabenbauer will enter the practice sessions July 20 from 8:15 a.m. until 8:45 a.m. and take part in the qualifying race at 5 p.m. The final race will run July 21 from 5:55 p.m. until 6:40 p.m.
The Eurasia GT Invitational is hosted by the Northern Alberta Sports Car Club (NASCC) and is sponsored by Eurasia Automotive.
