Trio facing stolen property charges

Sturgeon County – A search warrant executed Friday afternoon resulted in three adults being charged with possession of stolen property. Following up on the joint efforts of Edmonton Police Services together with the Morinville and Drayton Valley RCMP detachments, police executed a search warrant in Sturgeon County.

The subsequent search resulted in police recovery a large quantity of alleged stolen property. Seized were a pick-up truck, quad, motorcycle, utility trailer, electronics and construction equipment.

Charges have been laid against two adult males and one adult female. Police are not releasing the names of the trio pending their first appearance in Morinville Provincial Court Thursday.

The investigation is on-going.
