In the municipal world, fall signifies the commencement of budgeting for the next fiscal year.
Council and Administration have been busy over the past few weeks preparing the 2013 Business Plan and Budget. These documents will
be brought forward for first reading later in October. First reading does not signify the passing of the budget and business plan, but rather the start of public discussion of these two documents.
Council will be holding Public Open Houses in November – watch our web site (www.morinville.ca) for the dates. Information will be shared at these open houses relating to the operational and capital budget for 2013. These sessions are your opportunity to learn more about the budget and its process, ask questions, and provide valuable feedback.
