Going up fast
Construction of the new playground equipment at Georges H. Primeau School was well underway Friday afternoon. The playground schedule started Monday with the excavation site marked with spray paint by Jackie Luker. Friday saw the delivery of engineered wood chips as safety surfacing and concrete was to be delivered Saturday. Volunteers working on the construction are members of the Vanier Parent Council. Luker said the playground at Primeau will be for students and members of the community. – Lucie Roy Photo

Spicy bowls
RV City sales consultant Glen Leeder serves Syd Spiker one of the eight chilies cooked for the Chili Cook Off held Saturday at RV City’s Year End Clearance Event. Participants who entered a vote for best chili were also eligible to win a $200 parts and service gift certificate. – Lucie Roy Photo
