Toys for a cause
Morinville Servus Credit Union staff member Sarah Iverson was showing some of the donations received for the Knights of Columbus Christmas hampers Friday morning. Garage sale of help
Linda Ferguson, a sales representative with Pleasant Homes, was busy serving the customers out looking for a good bargain at the Pleasant Homes 5th Annual Indoor Garage Sale. All proceeds from the sale go to the Morinville Food Bank and Pleasant Homes match the money raised dollar for dollar. A total of $2,500 was raised this year, an amount that will be matched by Pleasant Homes, bringing the Food Bank donation to $5,000. – Lucie Roy Photo


Joe gets a second sandwich
Green Bean owner Douglas Adsit and Smith Music owner Paul Smith pose for a photo with the Green Bean’s new Joe Morinville Veggie Sandwich. It’s in the cards

Snowflakes and Stars
Melanie Clark with the ornamental satin globes she makes and had available at the Snowflakes & Stars Christmas Market held Saturday at the Morinville Community Cultural Centre. The fifth annual home-based business show and sale offered an opportunity for local non profits to get involved by running the concession and selling raffle tickets. – Lucie Roy Photo
