The Morinville Community Bus will be at No Frills in the morning and Sobeys in the afternoon to give residents a chance to help fill the bus with donations for the Morinville Food Bank Society. The community is looking to beat last year’s total of 7,469 pounds of food and $810 in cash donations.

Singer Michelle Anderson will perform at Higher Grounds Espresso Bar Friday night at 7 p.m. All are welcome to this all ages event.

Brett Kissel performs

Country singer Brett Kissel will take to the stage of the Morinville Community Cultural Centre Friday night at 8 p.m. Tickets are $25 per person, $20 for seniors and $10 for students with valid student ID. Seating is cabaret table seating. Tickets available at the Cultural Centre box office and at the door.

The Morinville Public Library will hold its grand opening at 2 p.m. All are welcome to join the Library, its board, staff, volunteers and guests for this official event. The Morinville Community Library’s new logo will be unveiled during the event.
