Sturgeon County – Five people were taken to hospital Tuesday afternoon after a single-vehicle roll over on Highway 28, near Township Road 572. The collision occurred around 2 p.m. Dec. 11.
On arrival Morinville RCMP determined a northbound Ford pick up truck lost control and rolled into the ditch. The occupants were all taken to Edmonton hospital by ground ambulance. The extent of injuries are not known.
Traffic in the area was re-routed for about two hours.
Although the collision is still under investigation, weather and road conditions may have been a factor in this collision.
