Morinville – The Jets earned a 9-3 victory of the visiting Edmonton Mustangs Friday night, a come-from-behind effort that put another two points on the club’s tally.

Both teams ended the first period scoreless, but the Jets found themselves trailing the Mustangs 2-0 midway through the second period. A little effort pulled the scoreboard to a tie game by the end of the frame.

The Jets came alive in the final period, building to a 4-2 lead within the first two minutes and advancing that to 6-2 four minutes in. Although the Mustangs answered back to narrow the gap, the Jets piled on another three goals, the final goal scored by Nick Pratt with just .01 of a second on the clock.

The Jets are off to Wetaskiwin to faceoff against the Icemen Sunday afternoon.http://morinvillenews.com/wp-admin/post.php?post=12898&action=edit&message=1#edit_timestamp
