Art for art sake
MCHS Grade 12 Art 30 student Alanna Zinger shows two billboards containing her artwork. Student art is on display at the Morinville Community Cultural Centre from Feb.1 to Feb. 15. The Art 30 Grad Show held their opening reception Jan. 30 from 7-9 pm for close friends and family. Up on the roof top
Workers continued their efforts on the arena roof project Sunday afternoon. Council learned in January of some structural damage to the aging arena’s roof supports and authorized Public Works to spend $11,000 for a structural review of the roof’s columns, including repair or reinforcement.
