RCMP release suspect photos in liquor store robbery

Morinville – RCMP released surveillance photographs of two suspects wanted in connection with an armed robbery that took place at the Morinville Liquor Store Mar. 3.

Police were called to the business, located at 10012 103 Street, around 10:15 p.m Mar. 3 and learned two males had entered the business armed with a handgun and restrained the lone employee. The males departed with an undisclosed amount of money and bottles of liquor.

RCMP Police Dog Service and the Forensic Identification Section were called in to assist in the investigation. Police spent Monday morning doing extensive patrols in the area in the hope of gaining additional evidence or potential witnesses.
