Police investigating residential break, enter and theft in Sturgeon County

Sturgeon County – Police are looking for information on the person who broke into a detached garage at a residence located in the area of Township Road 543 and Range Road 261 in Sturgeon County Monday afternoon. Morinville RCMP say the incident took place around 2:15 p.m. Mar. 25.

The property owner was home during the incident and said she observed an unknown male exiting the garage with boxes. The suspect left the property in a white GMC 4X4 quad cab.

The suspect is described as a white male approximately 50 years of age with dark hair. He is approximately 5-foot-9-inches in height. Another male was also observed in the passenger seat of the truck.

The Morinville RCMP did extensive patrols in the area Monday in the hopes of gaining additional evidence and potential witnesses.
