Seth Boisvert is drawn to the finish line by the sweet lure of a baby bottle, an implement of encouragement that pulled Morinville’s fastest crawler through three successful heats Sunday afternoon.

Morinville – The Morinville News Baby Crawl closed Sunday’s entertainment at the Morinville and District Chamber of Commerce’s Leap Into Spring Expo Sunday afternoon. The event, sponsored by Morinville News, Neighbors Vitamin Shop and Higher Grounds Espresso Bar, drew five competitors this year.
Emcees Sheldon Fingler and Paul Smith bantered with the babies and race marshal Ron Cust as the field of five was narrowed down to a first-, second-, and third-place winner.
Each of the successful crawlers received a trophy and gift packages from the three event sponsor businesses.
