I would like to personally thank everyone that put in the time and effort to respond to the Municipal Waste Management Questionnaire that was included in the last round of Utility Bills. The results of this survey will be publicly provided to Council in the form of a report where the information collected will be used during our budget process for Council to provide direction in moving forward with a full organics program potentially in 2014. The deadline for this survey is July 31st. Similarly, we are seeking your input regarding water conservation through a Water Conservation Survey which is available either on the Town website (www.morinville.ca), or you can pick-up a copy at the Civic Place reception desk, Community Library or Public Works Shop. The data collected will also provide Council with the information required to direct administration accordingly. The deadline to respond to the Water Conservation Survey is August 15th.
