Morinville – World Food Day in Morinville was marked with a peaceful demonstration that ran from St. Jean Baptiste Park to the Morinville Community Cultural Centre. About 90 participants took part in the March Against Monsanto event, an initiative launched by Morinville resident Kimberly Prolier. The march was preceded by presentations from local farmers and ended with a documentary on GMO products.
