Apple Fest on its way
The sweet smell of baked apple dumplings came from the kitchen at the Rendez-Vous Centre last week, as Theresa Gervais and Pauline Kiriak were busy making 64 dumplings for the upcoming Apple Fest & Craft Sale to be held at the centre Nov 2. The annual event is a fundraiser for the Rendez-Vous Centre and mixes arts and crafts with an opportunity to sit down and enjoy a tea or coffee with some homemade desserts. Kiriak said the dumplings are best served with brown sugar and sucre a crème.
