An Economic Development Coordinator was hired October 1st and we welcome Schaun Goodeve to the Planning & Development Department. Schaun has been meeting with businesses and stakeholders and one of his recent accomplishments has been the launch of a business, retention and expansion program.
“Morinville Biz Pulse” – An important initial step in our business, retention and expansion program is to establish an economic development baseline. Business License Reminder
A reminder to all current 2013 licence holders, your licence will be expiring on December 31, 2013. You will be receiving a renewal letter in the near future for your 2014 Business Licence. An important value-add to this year’s business license program is the creation of an online business directory on the Town’s website. This will provide high-ranking online marketing exposure. The online directory will be a major benefit to home-based businesses and smaller operations with limited marketing budgets.
