Christmas crafts
Aspen House resident Lorraine Meunier looks over some of the many crafts for sale at the Aspen House Annual Christmas Party held Saturday. The Crafts were made by Aspen House and Aspen Villa residents and included snow globes, candle holders, snowman measuring ruler, no-sew blankets, bird feeders, and apple crisp. Entertainment for the event was Christmas music by the Bulger family.

Morinville Public Elementary School students Gracey Alley-Buchner and Kendra Clark were looking over the miniature village at the Morinville Museum Thursday morning. Four classes had the opportunity to tour the museum and make a Christmas-themed craft. The Museum is open Wednesday to Saturday from noon to 5 p.m. and will be closed Dec. 25 and 26 as well as Jan. 1.

Quilted donation
Loose Threads Quilting Club members Lynda Truhn and Shelley Faganello received many thanks from Heritage Lodge residents last week for their donation of place mats. Resident Kathy Fisher said she was very happy with the gift, which depicted cats, an animal she is particularly fond of.
