The Musée Morinville Museum will recognize International Women’s Day Mar. 8 with three exhibits: ISKWEWAK (Women) of Alexander First Nation Display, the Pioneer Women’s Exhibit and the Prominent Women of Morinville Display.

The latter two exhibits have been in the museum for a while; the Alexander exhibit is new and set up for the display began Wednesday.

The museum is encouraging people to come out Mar. 8 at noon for the kickoff to the exhibit. Alexander First Nation representatives will be in attendance and a smudging ceremony will take place prior to the launch.

The Musée Morinville Museum is located at 10010 101 Street, next to St. Jean Baptiste Church. The museum is open Wednesday through Saturday from noon until 5 p.m.
