Suspects identified and wanted for stabbing

Morinville – RCMP are advising that Christian Dupas and Cory Nelson have both been charged with Aggravated Assault in relation to an incident that occurred April 7, 2014 at approximately 9:00 pm. Through further investigation it was revealed that Dupas and Nelson are believed to have attacked a 22 year old male victim in the lobby of the apartment building where the victim lives, beating him and stabbing him with a knife. The victim still remains in hospital at this time.

Police are still not revealing the location of Monday night’s stabbing as the location is still being investigated.

Cory Kurtis Walter NELSONCorporal Martin Gerard of the Morinville RCMP detachment said both men are known to police. Warrants have been issued for the arrest for Dupas and Nelson and the RCMP are seeking the public’s assistance in revealing their whereabouts.
