On Monday morning Notre Dame Grade 1 students visited High Q Greenhouses, located in just outside Morinville in Sturgeon County. The students learned about plants and the different parts of the plant as well as got to learn about seedlings, watering, soil, types of containers and the scents produced by various plants.

Providing the instructions were owners Michiel and Ina Verheul.

All students received a complimentary pot, filled it with soil and planted a flower of their choice.
