Georges H. Primeau recognizes its excellence

Georges H. Primeau Middle School took over the Morinville Community Cultural Centre June 25 for their annual awards night. Two sessions were held: one for Grades 5 and 6, and another for Grades 7 and 8. Awards were presented for academic, arts and athletic excellence.

Grade 6 Top Honours was presented to Skyla Belanger, Katherine Campbell and Kristen (Gracie) Strong. Campbell also received the Career Technologies Studies Award, Art, and the Religion Award. Campbell and Strong each received the Star Award. Strong also received the French as a Second Language Award.

Haillee Reaume received the Grade 7 Most Outstanding Musician Award, French Immersion Award and Knights of Columbus Grade 7 Top Honours.

Zachary Froment received the Grade 8 honours Award,The Running Room Grade 7/8 Most Valuable Runner along with Tyler Hopkins, the Grade 7/8 Track & Field Most Valuable Male, and he is holding the medal he received for Male Athlete of the Year.

The Father Georges H. Primeau Award was presented to Shaelyn Durocher by Principal Allan Menduk.She also received the Most Outstanding Musician Award for Grade 8, French Immersion Award for Grade 8, Religious Studies Award, Honours Award, Girls Badminton Heart & Hustle, and Star Award.
