Communities in Bloom

Morinville has entered into Communities in Bloom for 2014. they are in the non-competitive category; however, they are still judged to see where the town can improve. Please help the Town and your community by having your yard cut and well maintained for judging day of Monday, July 28th.

Some Incredible Edibles ready for harvest

Incredible Edibles Rhubarb and some herbs are ready to harvest and eat through our Incredible Edibles program. You will find herbs and vegetables outside Town office (front and back), at Public Works, in many of the aggregate planters on main street between 100 – 104 street, at the east and west Town signs, and along the walking trail. These edibles are for ALL residents, so please help yourselves… and enjoy!

DEVELOPMENT PERMIT PUBLIC NOTICE

Take notice that the following Development Permit(s) listed below have been approved in accordance with Morinville Land Use Bylaw 3/2012.

DP127/2014 — Child Care Facility — Day Home, 430 Grandin Drive (Lot 12, Block 17, Plan 942 4040) — Single Detached Compact Residential (R-1B) District.

Persons wishing to appeal the above noted decision(s) of Morinville’s Development Authority must do so by filing a “NOTICE OF APPEAL,” along with payment of a $200 nonrefundable fee to the Subdivision and Development Appeal Board, NO LATER THAN JULY 16, 2014. Appeals can be filed with the Secretary of the Subdivision and Development Appeal Board by calling 780-939-4361.
