The week in photos

Here is some of what our cameras caught in and out of town last week.

Peanuts1_1

That’s nuts
At least one local squirrel thinks it is going to be a cold winter. Our reader tells us the squirrel has been stealing the blue jay’s peanuts and storing them in a little cupboard in their next door neighbour’s shed. When they opened the door they found the peanuts neatly stacked in each little section of the cupboard. While there, the squirrel popped his head in from the front door, saw everyone, gave a little squeak and off he went. They’re sure he is worried about his stash. – Submitted photo

  1. If it was important to the town to have our Mayor and Councillor/s in Kentucky for a sod turning ceremony, I sure hope the town paid for the flights and accommodations.
If Champion paid, is that any different then box seats at an Oilers game?
