Four Morinville businesses are teaming up to make a business-oriented block party. The Morinville Redliners car club, Champion Petfoods, Sobeys Morinville and Smith Music are hosting a party with food, music and cars.
We have an outdoor open stage where local musicians can jam, a car show and an outdoor dinner featuring bison burgers. Donations will be accepted for The Musicians of Morinville fund and Cancer Society.
The event is in the Smith Music Parking lot from 5-11 p.m. Sept. 6.
The intent of the partnership is to help strengthen the food and music culture in Morinville and show that businesses can work together to promote each other and our community. This is our first pilot event.
What is the Musicians of Morinville Fund?
The Musicians of Morinville Fund is aimed at music for kids. Any funds raised will go towards getting instruments into the hands of children that can’t normally afford them. Smith Music supplies the instruments at cost.
