Morinville – On September 11, 2014, RCMP charged a 25 male from the Alexander Reserve First Nation in the fatal hit and run of Ian CARDINAL.
Numerous witnesses were interviewed and the driver of the vehicle was identified. Further investigation also revealed that alcohol was factor in this fatal hit and run. On September 11, 2014, a 25 years male from Alexander Fist Nations was arrested and charged with Impaired Driving Causing Death, Failure to Stop at the Scene of an Accident, Dangerous Driving Causing Death and Causing Death by Criminal Negligence.
Police have not released the name of the accused.
The accused will be making his first court appearance in Morinville on Oct. 30.
